What is the trick to uploading a jpg pic to your new head unit? I have a Kenwood DMX7709S. I’m using a freshly formatted thumb drive with a .jpg pic. On the stereo I select USB. Select “picture”, insert drive and it says not recognized. Thoughts?

I think size and format make a difference.

Check your user manual for information on any maximum file size limits as well as what file type(s) the radio can handle. You may need to convert your image to a size and format that your radio will recognize.

Make sure your drive is formatted as FAT 16 or 32 or extFAT. Also, the jpg file should be 800 X 480.

Has to be bit.map image if I remember correctly.
