New sound system ideas
I'm getting ready to update the sound system in the new-to-us 2008 coupe and I have a couple ideas to bounce off y'all.
The car is used for date nights and weekend trips so we don't need to vibrate the neighborhood but it definitely needs to be better than what Chevy put in there.
In the doors I'm thinking Eclipse REF1000S shallow mount 10" with Eclipse REF3032CFX 3.5" two way at the top. In back the Eclipse REF 5032CFX 5.25" two way.
The plan is to use the head unit to power the small speakers directly. The HUs that I have been looking at are around 22-25WPC. The woofers will be fed from the
sub outputs through an amp of approx 100WPC.
