Move '02 Bose system to 87 pickup?
OK I've got all my new parts. Alpine 7998, TME-M760 monitor etc. I really want to keep the 12 disk changer but if I could move the whole Bose system over to my 87 shortbox I'd be a lot happier about removing it.
Where are all the amps and underdash stuff located? I will leave the wiring and just buy the harnesses.
It seems I read a thread somewhere about having to jump a few wires to eliminate the theft device. Maybe a few other wiring issues?
I know the C5 guys just say to toss the system but between the HU and CD changer I see aftermarket value worth around $500.
