Default Thinking of changing the system.....

Right now I have the following:

indash: Sony ES minidisc (going to be replaced with an Alpine 7998)
amps: Kicker ZR240 & ZR600
front imaging: Focal 165k2's
sub: 12 Image Dynamics IDMAX

However, I have the itch to change out the system with the following:
indash: Alpine 7998
amps: Kicker ZR360 & ZR1000
front imaging: CDT Eurosport ES-643 (3-way compontents)
sub: JL 10W7 or 12W7

I know that I am swapping head units no matter what but I just got to browsing around and starting thinking about the system as a whole?

What does everyone think?

I definately like the IDMAX over the W7, why the change?

That is the only part that I'm not sure if I want to change. I really like my IDMAX but I heard a demo vehicle with a single 10W7 and I was blown away. I could not believe that I was listening to a single 10" driver. :yesnod:

Probably a combination of power/install/vehicle. You know how subs are.

Whats up with the 165K?

Nothing wrong with them. I have just been reading so many good things about the CDTs, I am thinking about swapping. Plus, I would like to have a true 3-way component system. :yesnod:
