Ok guys, I think I have what I need. As of right now I have just a PG 300.2 amp and a JL 12 installed. I have ready to be installed a Alpine 7998 HU, Infinity KAPPA60.5CS 6-1/2" 2-way loudspeaker, and a MTX 800.5 amp. Does this sound alright to you guys?? I am going to get rid of the back speakers and run the amp to the sub, HU and door speakers. Will this setup sound good? Also is that a decent amp? I didn't really want to spend the big bucks and I got a good deal on that one. Also I should dump the PG because the MTX has more than enough power right?
Thanks for your help guys, I'm slowly but surely learning this car audio stuff :D
If you guys know where I can get a different amp with around the same power for 250 let me know. The MTX is the only thing I'm really thinking twice about
Which JL are you powering? Ohm rating, model #, etc. The weak link here is the MTX. If you have it and the PG amps now, use the PG for the speakers and the MTX for the sub. The PG will give you better sound.

Ok the JL is a 12w3 I think. I bought it off of someone on here already in the box. Here's another idea how about I keep the PG 300.2 and get rid of the MTX and buy another PG 300.2 and just run the sub to one and the speakers to the other?? Would this work better??
