Default Sony Head Unit Volume Button
The head unit in my C6 is acting up. The volume button is intermittently not working. Turn it up or down with no affect.

Sounds like you need to pull it and send it in to Sony to be repaired.

Never worked on one myself, but maybe you could open it up and try to spray it with some contact cleaner.
