Well McIntosh fell through.. They are having production issues and are out at least 2 months for a MCC404M.
JL was so kind to sponsor our Sub and sub-Amp I had them ship a 300/2 for evaluation.
Wow.. I measure .0023% distortion at rated power. The frequency response was flat to 25kHz... I was really impressed. I was also impressed that the amp drove to 175watt @ 1%THD (Rated to 150). All taken at 12v.
So we will use the 300/2 and 450/4 for the 5 channels (150x5).

Should be like X-mas next week! We will probably start on the install Late march. We need to get everything laid out to get the custom Maple Audio cables (Power and Signal). There really isn't apoint to being done if we don't have the head unit, as I expect the dash to be the source of many sleepless nights.
Sorry I have not gotten back to you, still working on talking to them. been crazy last month here with little sleep, building cars and getting ready for the big Spring Break Jam Show at South padre. Went awesome though and we won first in our class and Best of Show consumer with the Arc and Rainbow setup. Hopefully the car goes well.
In order to fit the headunit in, you will probably have to move it down lower or mold out the stock piece. There is not much room behind the stock location and if you really want to flush the headunit in there you will have to cut the A/C vents just alitle and then plastic weld them back the hole up. I not a big fan of having kits where the headunit sticks out to fit.
1. Remote Control Power Windows: It allows you to roll up your windows by hitting lock three times, or down by hitting unlock three times (on remote).
2. Retained Accessory Power: Keeps the accessory power on while you exit the vehicle, great to have tunes while putting up the top. Shuts off when you arm the car.
Oh, the window valet. I thought it had something to do with the Convertable top. The express down seems like a novial enough idea. Has it acturally come in handy? When? Is the thing hard to install?
