Default Installing new speakers and need help

Help,
I am adding an amp (Sony 4 CH that I have had for a while), installing a set of CDT CL61s and a CDT MS100 10' Sub to my C5.So far I have the AMP mounted, power running to it and grounded. I have the sub all ready to go ( I built my own custom box to go into the center compartment). I am now trying to run my speaker wires to the doors. This is my problem, I have the wires to the kick panel but can't figure out how to get the wire into the door. Please let me know how to get the wires into the door.

Thanks,
Kevin

You'll need to remove the kick panel. There is a metal plate about 2" x 4" with a rubber type gasket on a squarish metal brace. You can peel the plate off with a screwdriver revealing the end of the accordian rubber between the door post and the door. I stuck a coat hanger through the door accordian and then pulled my wires in. Hook em up and Crank it up!

Thanks for the info vrumvrum.

I also need to thank you for your earlier post on how to build the sub box. My box is a variation of your design.

Thanks,
Kevin

I have run into my problem. I am using the directions in the Tech section by 99HT. I think I have all the wiring done except for the remote turn on wire. The instructions say to use the SW +12 out C1(8) DK GRN, Radio "ON" signal. Which connector is the C1. I am pretty sure the C4 connector is the bigger of the two on the left side of the radio. Is the C1 connector the small one on the left or the big one on the right. This would probably be a lot easier if I were not color blind.

Thanks,
Kevin

Here's a link for those who haven't figured it out. It can get frustrating.

I actually used the right hand connector on the radio. The wire in pin 8 of the connector is a switched 12V for the stereo turn on. Thanks though.

Thanks
