sound problem
when i first hooked up my system it sounded good. but now when i cranked it up it seems the front speakers are distortin. i have no clue were to set the crossover and gain to on the amp or the alpine 7998 for the front and rear speakers. any help please :confused:

ok... I have had a simular problem.
From what I have been able figure out, 2 crossovers are 1 too many.
Disable one. That should help a ton.
Bring the levels down. You really don't want the line level's too high, because the if levels are too high, distortion will result. so will noise.
I set my head units volume & bass at 10, then adjust the levels from there.
