Poly-Fill Stuffing

Originally, my box is about 1.3 cu ft. Now, after reverve my sub, I can only got about 0.8 cu ft and it sounds not as loud as it used to be but tighter.
This poly-fill stuff will keep the air and will make the sub thinks it's bigger box.
Has anyone used it? Does it help?

I have not tried it yet, but I am planning on trying it. Worst case scenerio is that it does not do anyting.

I have a .7 CU box and I am going to try and see what difference it makes when I stuff it full of that stuff.

I use it in my DIY home theater subwoofer. There is a noticable difference (but then again my box is 145 liters internally)

also, do not buy it from crutchfield, the cheapest place is walmart.
Go to the craft section and look for a bag that says "polyfil" it is less than $2 for a one pound bag.

I got mine at Crutchfield since Xmas :cry
Just put some and it sounds much better so I will put a bit more later after carpet my box.

Yes, it does work and you will hear a difference depending on how much Pollyfill you put in it. It's a trial and error kind of thing, just put enough in till it sounds like you want. Get it at Wal Mart, it's cheaper there.
