Remove Bose

Hello;
I'd like to put in a AM-FM, CD in an 84 that has a Bose system. Is it possible to use the present speakers and just un hook the amps to get away from the Bose system?

Bose is Bose.. Not is not. Bose is like a heating system..wont work with the air presure system....
