Default Front components opinions please...........

Which of these fronts would you put into the door of a C5? The ones that I'm thinking about are: Crystal CS60s, Kicker Resolutions, MB quarts. Which of these would you guys use, and why? I have an Alpine 7894 head unit, but I may run a US Acoustics 4085 for the fronts, and sub (which I'm gonna do later), and the hu for the rears. What do you guys think?

http://www.cdtaudio.com

cdt's are warm and natural
http://www.focal-america.com

Focals are somewhat bright, but very clear

mho, kickers sound unclear and "boxy" if that makes sense, and the MBQ's sound very tinny, just compared to the above two brands. mho, i wouldnt own the focals other than the Utopias because i dont like the lower lines' tweeter. I really like the cdt hd's tho.

Please excuse me, but I am new to this audio stuff. What doesn't mean when a tweeter is bright, and why do/don't you want that? How do you set-up a cross over, and what does it do?

hmn... maybe you want bright and maybe you dont. Some people like a super lively tweeter that sounds reallyy "sharp" (mbq or focal) and even harsh... some peoople like a softer sounding tweeter that isnt as sharp, blends in better and isnt harsh (cdt), and some people like a tweeter thats laid back to the point that some peopke refer to it as "ddead" or "not lively" at all (dynaudio)

although your install will make a tweeter sound more or less harsh/bright/loud than it actually is. the only way to know what you want is to listen to them.

best thing to do is find people who have a C5, and listen to a bunch of different setups. See which one sounds the best to you and then go with that

Looks like he is trying to stay around or under 200 bucks so some of the suggestions are out of the question.

I wouls suggest the JL XR or the Crystals.

I'm sorry, I should have put that in my post. Actually, it was $250, because I have to factor in installation, because I don't have a clue as to what to do. I thought I'd ask you guys what was good, and take it from there. When I saw the prices of some of those speakers, my wife had to help me off of the floor.
I think that I'm going to go with the Crystal CS60's with the silk tweeter. Do you think that they'll sound alright? The sound that I'm looking for, is when the drummer hits the cymbal, it sounds like you're there. Will these do that?

Thanks for all of your replies

It's between the Crystal CS60's, and the CDT CL61's. Which would you guys do? I want something that can play highs (cymbal crasheds, etc.) with great clarity. I'm probably going to run these off the head unit, for a while, then get an amp/sub, after some more research. I'll probably get one of Mike 76002 's stealth boxes, but don't know which sub to put in it. Any recomendations on a decent sub in the sub (pun intended) $250 range? I like the Us acoustics US-4085 amp, but what do you guys think. I really appreciate all of your help. Thanks Guys.

save for the cdt hd's and definately get an amp! components will be really weak on hu power... i heard nightmre can get deals on cdt

cdt will give you highs you can feel, and cymbals that sound real... but never bleed together in sound (like alot of sets do)
