Is it possible to install a subwoofer only and leave the stock head and bose speakers in place and working? Has anyone done this?

Search function doesn't work except for topics only, he may get lucky. Like leolufse said, yes, you can and there are several different ways to do it. Now here's a stupid question, do you want to do it the easy way or the hard way? :lol:

lol! This search function is killin me! I have not had much luck with it and scanned 5 pages of posts before I posted this last night. :)
Is there a empty RCA low pass in the back of the stock head unit? Do I have to splice from the current wires?
Nomad, I want to do it the best way. I just do not want to remove the stock headunit and speakers right now. I'll take you guys advice anyway I can get it though. ;)

Look down the page a little, a topic called Amp Install 101. I gave step by step instructions on how to add an amp to the C5 Bose system. Follow those directions except don't wory about the front channels.

Yes it is possible and there are several ways to do it. Do a search in this section and you will find several posts about it.
