How do I find speakers OHM's
I have a brand new old pair of nice 6x9's I might like to use, however nowhere on them is the ohms rated, is there a way to find out with a volt/ohm meter what they are I don't want to ruin anytghing and I'm told it's important all four speakers are the same ohms

take an ohmmeter and put one on + and one - an there you go
it will probaly read 3.2 ohms orsomething

Most speakers now are 4-ohms unless they are Blose 1-ohm units. If you can't check them yourself, take them to Radio Shack and they'll test them for you. 4-ohms per-channel is the typical impedance for most aftermarket stereos now. :iagree:
