Re: Do I have to remove enclosures/panels (Kale)
Yes, either that or hack them up a little bit.
:iagree: You don't necessarily have to remove the Blose enclosure to put aftermarket speakers and wires in. In fact, if you are just putting 4" speakers in you won't even have to cut the enclosure any, but if you put larger speakers in you will have to cut the Blose enclosure to accommodate them. It's up to you.
You will however, need to remove the door panel to do this.

Yes the aftermarket 4" will have 4 screws but the majority of 4" coaxial speakers will not be too deep for the pod and you really don't damage the pod much by putting in 4 screws instead of 3. However, I personally would not alter the Bose pods unless I either had a back up pair or never planned to reinstall the Bose system.

Ok, smarty pants(everyone here) how the MutherF***enHell do you get those Bose pods out of the door.
I took out the screws than bolt it to the door, next took the bose pod itself appart, while still in the door, then unbolted the steel pice that hods the door opener and lock in place, next jiggled, rammed, "finessed" the bose pod halfs out of the door.:mad
Is this the only way to get them out of there  Took me about 3 hours just to do one side.

Please help.
i detached the pod from the door, detached the inner door frame, and slid them out.. about an hour per door. the only hard part is getting the stupid levers back in place.
