side impact crash foam
I'm talkin about the styrofoam that lines the inside of the door panel that are on each door. Has anybody taken these off completely? I tried to glue down my passenger side one and it seems that all it does is squeek and rattle. Thoughts?

Mine squeaked like crazy - so I shaved them down some. I used the wife's electric carving knife :D It's not very dense stuff, so be prepared for a big F-ing mess.

I was thinking about spraying some WD-40 on parts of it to minimize squeeks or cover it in a sound damping material.
Are you guys sound proofing the door panels and the doors?? I don't want a damn noise anywhere in my car when I'm done with my install. :smash:
