Speaker Hum
Both of the stock Bose rears on my 96 have a constant hum when the stereo is on - radio, CD, volume all the way down - same static. Is this a speaker problem or an amp problem? Thanks for the help!

These speakers are driven by their own amplifier. Your amps have electrolytic capacitors in them that have a finite life and yours have just died and need replacing. I recall that Bose will repair your amps for free, or, you can relatively cheaply replace all of the electrolytic capacitors yourself.
