replace bose system or rewire for new sound
My radio in my 85 is pretty much shot. Refurbished stock radios are about $200 from ecklers. is it better to get rid of bose and go pioneer radio and speakers. Is it a total rewire or just the components that need to be changed? Radio and speakers. NEED a CD!!!!!

jhughes2101, what did you end up puting in. I want to replace my bose on my 90 vert and am having trouble finding a stereo shop that has anything they think will fit. Thanks :cool:

Nothing yet. I read somewhere about putting in late model buick radios/cd sets that fit. I really don't like aftermarket radios, cause the buttons and stuff are too little. plus they are delicate (I've put in three in my kids car and two of them only lasted a year before the buttons quit working.

I too have a 90 vert that needs a complete replacement system. I'm looking for a moderately priced system. You guys let me know when you find a good setup!! :yesnod:
