Article mentions a 9 speaker Bose system with an in dash 6-cd changer and radio controls on the steering wheel.
Maybe 2 of those speakers are tweeters?? The odd number leaves me to believe we might be getting a true subwoofer. How about some RCA output jacks GM? Sounds like more work to take out though if you ask me.:crazy: But the goal is for it to be good enougth to leave in.:cool:

Well the good news is that I have spent so much $$ on the system in my C5 that I don't have enough money left to buy a C6 anyhow. :lol:

I have a few friends inside of GM ... and close to the Corvette Project ... they have not seen the C6 ... but have seen the paperwork ...
About the stereo ...
It is not going to be 9 speakers ... they are testing 12 speakers ...
Real Tweeters in the Pillars, mids and woofers in the doors ... (6 speakers there)
Real Tweets and a Mid in the back (4 speakers) ... these 10 are nearly 90% for sure ...
2 small subs ... which makes the 12 ... but this is not 100% sure due to weight and size ....
I have heard that for the average user ... the stereo will be way too much ... and for the audiophile ... it will be 100% better than the C5 ... while it will not be as good as an aftermarket system ... the use of real speakers shows that they are trying ...
