I NEED A BIG AMP!
My alpine amp blew last week. So I am going to buy another one.
But i figured that while I was getting a new amp I should get some subs also.
I am either going to run 2 Image Dynamics IDMAX 12 D 2's or 2 JL Audio 13w7's.
I need an amp that will make a lot of power. Probably at least 1200-1500 watts.
Anybody know of any good amps that will power these speakers?

Why did you apline amp blow? It is just the amp, or something wrong with your install? I'd hate to see you spend good money on subs and amps only to have them blow again because of some sort of installation problem.
Second question:
What kind of bass are you looking for? While the W7 is a "musical" sub, it has a tremendous amount more SPL than those Image Dynamic IDMAX subs could even dream of.
Lastly, if you want to run a pair of w7s, you should hook each one up to its own amp makeing at least 1000 watts.
My first choice for a heavy duty sub amp would be a JL 1000/1 (especially if I was spending your money). Next would be the PG. But if you want the best bang for your buck watts, go with the JBL 1200/1.
