I have been to about 4 stereo shops today to find out how much to trash the bose system and put in a real stereo....about $700 bucks average for the whole ball of wax....
I would pull one of the rear speakers, and see if it is connected. You may have to pull the whole box out, but the rears are not that hard. If that looks OK, then it may be time to pull the radio. Its not that bad. Unscrew the panel that holds it in. I think there are 6 screws. You only need to unscrew the two screws that are on the right of the speedometer. Remove the remaining screws, 2 on the left by the bread box and 2 at the bottom of the console. Once you remove the panel the radio mounts will be exposed. There are 4 10mm holding it in. Unscrew them and pull the radio out as far as you can get it. You might have one of the plugs in the rear not in all the way. I think there are separate plugs for power and speakers.
It could be that all 4 speaker amps are bad :(
It has been awhile since I screwed around with the Delco Blose. I replaced mine with aftermarket as soon as the first amp went out. Best mod I ever did. :yesnod:
Oh boy, that is a loaded question..... :yesnod: It is the latest in car polish... head over to the Car Care Section with your seat belt fastened... and beware of the Zaino Zealots  Guilty as charged :D
