Scratches in Display
Anyone have a good way to remove light scratches in a head unit display? I have an Alpine 7998 and there are some fine scratches on the display screen that drive me nuts.

I thought about that, even got a reccomendation on a glass polish that can remove fine scratches. Just nervous about doing it and hoping someone has already done it. Thanks.

I have wanted to try it, but I am nervous about messing up the face even more.
try getting a new lens from Alpine... I can't believe it's THAT expensive...

I've done it many times.
I actually just use 0000 steel wool, then rubbing compound, then polishing compound.
If being ****, and careful is in your nature, it will AT LEAST be better than it is now, if not perfect.

used my Zaino glass polish for fine scratches, cleaned the scratches up but left a little haze in one corner that doesn't seem to come off. Looks better than before though.
