Model 605cs Refererence Series. 6.5" component speakers that were in the rear of my 00 before I decided to replace everything. They were only installed for 2 months. Everything that came with them is included.
I paid $120+ for them.
Yes, you can use them with the factory Bose and the factory wires. To mount, simply remove the old speakers and mount the new. These are 6.5 inch made for a coupe. If you have a convertible, they would be too big.
The reason I bought them to begin with was because I wanted to mount the tweeters close to the head rests to increase the highs.
I realized that they were too big to fit in the back after I replied, but they COULD be used in the doors, right? Do you have to do any fancy wiring to use them with the stock amps in the doors? If not, then I'll still take 'em.
I'm eventually gonna buy a new HU anyway, so the door spkrs gotta go sometime. Do you think they would perform well in this location?
Yes, they could be used in the doors. However, you would have to make a template to mount them on. Also, not really worth it if your using the factory HU.
IMO they would be worth it if you used an aftermarket HU or added an amp to factory set set up. The factory system is somewhat complicated and cannot easily be made to work with aftermarket parts. But, anything you want to do can be done. It just comes down to whether or not it would be worth it for you.
Do a search for C5 installation pics. You'll see what guys are doing. I'll post some pics of my new install soon. I replaced everything.

Re: Infinity speakers for sale (Michaeljh2000)
These are very nice speakers for the money. I have them in the front of my daily driver powered by the front section of an Alpine MRV-F540 80x4 amp. I am considering purchasing this set for the front section of my planned C5 system ;)
