I've been emailing a bose stereo repair guy in FL that says he's considering developing a solution to get a line level auxillary input into the C4 bose gold system. For hooking up an MP3 player or something else to the factory unit. He's already got a couple of adapters for GM cars with CD changer controls that he sells for $75, and is going to be looking into doing this with the C4 (pre CD changer control era). Could I get a show of hands on who would be interested if he could do it? He wants to make sure there's enough interest to make it worth his time.
IMO,
They don't call it a "BLOSE" for nothing !
I'm presently looking into an aftermarket system. Even a cheap one will sound better.
Besides, someone swapped out the original CD unit and stuck a tape player in it's place :mad
I haven't used a tape since 1998 when my first CD player went in and I never turned back
