Bear tracker? What have we got here?
Found this device in the rear tub when I bought my used C-5. Not sure just what I have here, Anyone have any information?? Mod. BCT-10 WHAT, WHERE, WHY and how? :confused:

Police scanner with a special mod to track the frequency of the hand held radios that state trooper carry. It will give you a warning when you are within 3 miles of a state tropper.

In most states the answer is yes. They take a special antenna to work right. They come with an adaptor to use the radio ant, do not use it, it doesn't work worth a cra-

It has a 5" rubber antenna that attaches on the side. There is also a second Cell phone (tru glass hatch) antenna. The other glass mounted antenna is for the CB he left in the car! When the rubber antenna is pulled off, there seems to be an adptor that must have been used to go to the glass mounted antenna. I think the previous owner was the one who was fined over $700 dollars for going 130+mph in South Dakota on the way to Speerfish a few years ago! Maybe that explains the bear tracker. :nono:
