amp location????
the Delco head unit is still in it though.
It was quite a hack job that was done on it, so i have spent the last day and a half rewiring everything..
Im guessing that there is a bose amp in it somewhere, but i cant find it.
Would anyone mind giving me the location of it?
I am hoping they left it in when they put all the new stuff in it.
Thanks,
Jason
Advice - rip it out....rip it all out and start from scratch. You'll be much happier.

First off I would like to express my disgust that someone would hack up a 35th Ann. Ed. like that and you are doing the right thing by taking it all out and repairing the damage.
The Blose amps are located inside the speaker pods in the rear and front doors. It is nothing more than a 4" speaker in both the rear and front door mounted on a ported plastic pod. Inside each pod you will find the amp for that speaker.
I too have a 35th Anniversary Edition and here is what I did for my stereo setup. I didn't cut, damage, or alter any part of the car or trim piece at all. This car can be put back stock at any moment and you would never know an aftermarket system was in it.

Underneath the 35th Corvette emblem is the Coustic XM6 electronic crossover:

Here is the amp rack before installing it:
Alpine HU, Image Dynamics CXS62's in the doors and CDT 4" mids in the dash. Here is the stereo schematic for the car:
If you need any help feel free to post or IM me.
Good luck. :seeya
