I had a new power window regulator put in today and when i got the car back i cranked up the system and when i got it loud enough for other people to hear it i heard loud static/bleeping noises from my rear speakers. I tried disconnecting the speaker that was making noise and the noise just moved over to the other rear speaker.
I tried shifting the Fade and Balance around and that did kill the noise, but you know it also killed the good sound.
Now my front speaker in the door doesnt work at all, and i was wondering if that has something to do with the rears giving this static? I dont know the first thing about car audio.
The car has a Jensen 3CD changer in the dash but still has Bose speakers, Ive never had a problem with them before today (same song, same volume settings).
BTW, they also have screwed up the door lock somehow. You know you hit the lock switch and both sides lock, well the pass side locks and now the drivers' doesnt, i have to push back the lock button manually. I wonder if that might be a short if they wired it wrong?
I have to take the car back in the morning for that to be fixed, i was going to have them remove and reinstall that speaker to be sure they wired it right too.
I think they jacked up your door wiring somehow. Did they use a factory part (Plug n Play), or put in some aftermarket stuff that required more "engineering"?
