bose cd not playing?
ive just moved here from england, and purchased a C4 the problem with the cd player is it accepts the cd and on the display it comes up cd in but the cd doesnt play ,radio etc all works fine..is this a common problem with the standard system and is the standard system crap anyway?
the car is a 1990 with a genuine 24000 miles on

Congrats on your purchase, vettes are nice.
The C4 stereo is notorious (sp) for going bad. Just check all the rebuilt ones on E-Bay.
IMO, don't waste your money trying to fix it, replace it and the speakers, might cost you a little more but you'll be a lot happier with the sound of quality aftermarket equipment.
