Now I'm confused...
Do yourself a BIG favor and just pull off the speaker grills and look FIRST !
At least on my 94 it turns out that you can pretty much bolt in a 6.5" in the back and I think a 4" or so in the front. Otherwise you have to do a lot of fabricating. I know, I just spent 3+ weeks doing this.
You can barely fit 5.25" in the front. 6x9 fit in the rear but need to make a mounting plate.
Goody did a great job but I wanted to keep everything stock looking so it took a lot more work to get things to fit properly.
Since the info was not readily available I will be putting a how to web page up sometime soon. I took tons of pics. Spent hours with the service manual decoding the Blose wiring nightmare to get things to work, ect....
I could have fit 6.5's in the rear are because I had to Gold setup. I thought about returning the 6x9's and going that route out of simplicity. But, not being one to do things the easy way I forged ahead.
Just remove the speaker covers in the rear and you will know what fits in there. It isn't hard at all....otherwise those knotheads at Circuitless City wouldn't be able to install them. :smash:
The fronts are easy to get to by removing the sill covers and having a looksy under there. Only a few screws to undo. You could remove the enclosures and then take them into your favorite stereo store and trial fit stuff that you like the sound of. I didn't want to have to buy any one particular brand because of size or fitment limitations. I'm thinking of adding bigger fronts (5.5's) since there is room under the factory covers. I'll move the little 4's up under the dash or into the Halo panel for more fill noise. Got extra channels thanks to the second amp.
The big issue you face is the wiring, which isn't that hard given the ease of removing the seats, but the carpeting can be a hassle of sorts. Leave the factory wire in place and just run new stuff next to it. You don't need monster wire, just some good quality street wire stuff.
Just don't be afraid to try this stuff out. It isn't that difficult, but can require some prior planning for the best install......I didn't plan very well, but it came out pretty good given enough time and monkeying around with it.
I wanted to have everything when I took it apart so that I could do the install and not have the car apart waiting for pieces. I'll go in this weekend and take some measurements.
BTW it's the Blose Gold system. I already have the 6x9's for the rear and just ordered a new CD Changer (the old one is toast). I just need to find out what to get for the front and I'll be ready to go :D

I had already installed the JVC headunit a couple of years ago so I took that back out to wire the new speakers. Everything went along perfectly until I got to the front speakers and after removing the blose, and realized that there is NOTHING there to bolt the new speakers to. Just the four holes that the amp/speaker was bolted to.
To finish this up I'm going to need to have a box built to hold the 5.25's I have for the front, how hard of a process is this? I know a couple of you guys have built them yourselves, care to make a couple of more for a few bucks? Or just give me some specs and I'll go to the wood shop (though I guess I probably shouldn't use wood eh?) and try to do it myself.
It still sounds 100% better just with the 6x9s in the rear...it sounded so bad before that I usually never turned the system on, and just listened to my exhaust system "sing"

5 1/4's fit perfectly up front. Any bigger, and start to have problems.
