A few weeks ago I posted how I started my first sub fiberglass enclosure project. Well its still progressing, but it was put on hold for the past 2 weeks cause of laziness and lack of funding. Anyhow its been a learning experneice alright, the fiberglass got deformed probbly cause I took it out of its mold and didnt fit too well anymore. So now I cut it apart in to 3 pieces and will try to piece it back together. Hopefully one of these days I'll get it done. :mad
How did the fiberglass get deformed? Didn't you let the fiberglass dry enough. Maybe you didn't use enough hardening in the mixture. When I did my fiberglass and still inprogress. I let the first layer sit in the back of the car for about 3 days to take the shape. It was over kill but I didn't need to rush.
Took it out and placed another layer down. I know it is a pain and so much work to do a fiberglass box.
Just this pass weekend I started shaving the top down to lay the top board to enclose it. Once that is done I am going to paint it black. Lay the carpet on it and hopefully get it done.
Sent you a write up I pieced together, enjoy!!
