Does anyone know of any electrical tape or other tape that could substitute as electrical tape that doesn't get all GOOEY :mad when it degrades?
I'm re-doing the wiring harness in the rear of my C4, and that sticky, gooey crap is a pain. However, I ran into some tape that was not gooey, the adhesive had hardened. Sure, it was brittle, but that's alot better than the crud I'm running into now.
I'm almost to the point of using gauze or some kind of cloth to wrap the harness in, because I am NOT going to use standard electrical tape.
3M 33+ is the best electrical tape I know of. Even the Walmart here carries it. It is usually about $3 per roll versus the 99 cent junk tape. I have used 33+ for years.
