I got my second grill and took the advice or rbartic and filled the box about 2/3 full of polyfill. The sound is much less hallow and the bottom end response has improved. I have output at 20Hz though it is several dB less than at 30hZ. There is a steep roll off at about 45 Hz.
With that being said, I'm very pleased at this point. The spl has increased dramatically and I've tuned the system to get a nice transition from the mid bass and the sub bass. Here are the rest of the pics:

Lars, I may try two 10"s in my vert sometime to see they will give me better bass than a 12"
So far, I love what I got right now but just wanna try something new.
