I was tuning my system (again) this weekend. I lowered by component amp gains from about 1/4 to 1/8 of a turn. This allowed me to get the HU volume up to about 30 before the tweeter lights started to come on. I had to re-adjust my sub amp. I lowered the gain to amost nothing and cranked up the bass boost to about 3/4 (i'm not sure how many dB that is). I was playing Chemical Bothers at 30 volume and it felt like the car was going to break in two. I sat back in the drivers seat and noticed that the rear view mirror had moved. I though maybe I bumped into it, so I re adjusted it. Sure enough after a few seconds, it bent right down again.
I've had plenty of systems that would make the rear view vibrate to the point you couldn't see out it, but I've never been able to have it move out of position. :D

Re: I think I have enough SPL (leolufse)
That sounds loud.
My system vibrates the rear mirror so hard it actually knocked the entire unit off the windshield, metal button and all. If I crank my setup the rear view mirror is basically useless.

Mine has done that too...stupid thing swung down and hit me when I was tuning.
I also have the added bonus that the side view mirrors are also useless, and it is very hard to read license plates from a distance because your vision blurs. God I love loud music. :D
