Anyone? Will be there Sat and some of Sun. After meeting with the PG rep, my day is empty, so I'm up for anything. BTW, I got the hotel close to Westport, within stubling distance, if you catch my drift. I'm ready, are any of you?
I was supposed to go but am not able to. But if you would not mind go buy the Stinger tent and slap Jason in the head for me....tell him it is from his friend with the vette. You can also do the same to Shawn over at Fishman's installer gimmick thing.
You mentioned PG.... I am on old school fan of them. Very nice stuff...do you use much of it?
They're trying to get back into our store. He's going to go over the current, new, and up in coming products with me. PG used to be a great ol' school company. They had some not so great lines a few years back, and tarnished the brand image some. They seem to be on a strong comeback streak, so we will see. I really wanted to get my hands on some 10th Annv stuff, sadly, I remember it when it was new too. :(
I hear you on the remember part :) I have one of their TIDEQ COMP 1/3rd octace eq's sitting on my shelf waiting to go into my truck. I am really looking forward to using just do not have the time. There is a local dealer I talk to often that is really happy with the new stuff. The local rep is a friend of mine and he talking them up also. I would like to hear what you have to say if you pick them up.
What kind of problem are you having tuning your eq Joey?
Get it setup, then listen to something else. then adjust. Listen to something else, then adjust. Neverending cycle with me :nopity
Jason, left my house this mourning and forgot the damn filters on my kitchen table. I'll priority mail them on Monday/tuesday when I get back. Or you can drive to my house and get them. Just another two hours drive for you
Gotcha...so it is 31 for front and rear left and right and another 11 for the sub. So this piece must have front, rear, and sub inputs and outputs. Can it use only one input and make the other two? Are you using an RTA to tune it? I am guessing from your other posts you own a car audio shop?
The Alpine can take a single stereo input and split it, yes. It also will take a digital input which I use from my DVD changer, w/ DTS.
I don't own a shop, just a part-time hobby at two local shops. (Employee at one, good friends at another)
Finals was good. As always, a few great cars, some so-so, and a lot of hoopties. I didn't hear how standings went down, as I had to work on Sun. :( A local guy got into the 172-173 range
That is cool. I just talked to a friend of mine that was there with Stinger. He said it was a good show. I also heard that Fishman did not finish his car....did you check that out at all? 173.....pretty damn loud.
