The HU I am installing ran into the plenum behind it. I was half considering modifying the plenum. Actually decided to modify the HU instead. Removing the dashpad was actually pretty easy and made routing wires A LOT easier.

It does look alot easier than any car I have pulled the dash from. All the dash boards I have removed the wire harness and brackets either come with it or get all clustered up behind the dash. That is cool you posted the pic. What H/U are you installing?
