Default Sticking Power Antenna

Anybody got a sure cure for a sticking power antenna. Mine's a 95 LT1. The antenna goes up reliably every time, but it doesn't like to come down very often without me bopping it on the top a couple of times. Cold weather makes it worse. Ideas?

Thanks

Spray WD-40 on a rag, wrap it around the antenna and have someone run it up & down a few times.

Transmission fluid wiped on with a rag worked best for me on my '84 & my '92. Seemed to stay much longer than WD40.
