c5 amp mounting

Has anyone ever mounted their amps behind the seats on the C5? Can anyone think of a reason why it won't work?

I have seen many people mounted their amp behind the pass. seat and they look fine and work fine especially, they can ground it to the seat.

I did not mount my amp there but I did mount the control box for my HU there. Behind the passenger seat that is. I used silicone adhezive to attach a piece of birch plywood to the body of the car behind the seat. Then mounted the box to that. No screws through the body.

there is room back there, that is where I mounted my crossovers

I HAVE TWO AMPS IN MY COUPE ONE AGAINST THE BACK WALL OF THE TRUNK ...CENTER OF CAR AND ONE SMALL ONE IN THE SIDE TRUNK STORAGE COMPARTMENT, THAT WAS EASILY MODIFIED ....THEY ARE NOT IN THE WAY AND NO CLEARANCE PROBLEMS.......WHEN YOUR 6 FT 300 LB FRIEND SITS IN THE PASS. SEAT, GOOD BY AIR FLOW
