Much easier than I thought. Made a wooden cover to mount the speaker in and put it in place of the door.... removed the lock and placed it on drivers compartment door. Lined the interior of the pass. compartment with plastic on the edges, filled with expanding foam in a can. Filled the compartment with cotton filling and cut carpet to fit around speaker.
No leaks, fits nice, entire job took 3-4 hours. I'll post pics Monday.
Thanks for the help everyone and especially 85 Stalker for the offer for pics and instructions when he does his.

I cannot wait to see the pics!!!! I'm about half way finished, I went a little bit of a different route -- I'll let you know how it turn out....
I would let the expandable foam air out for at least a full day before you seal the enclosure -- the solvents it gives off are not good for your sub (I'm doing the exact same thing).

I took pics but forgot that my server is still down so I have to find another place to host the pics. When I do, I'll post pics... sorry.
