i upgraded mine from a 2001 to a 2003 alternator under warranty.
Where did you purchase yours from?

Ohio Generator makes one just for the C5, it puts out 200 amps but costs $900 :eek:
Hopefully someone makes something cheaper or I am just going to have to keep the volume down. :lol:

I have another question, cause I see an alt replacement as a last step. Would going from my current battery(Everstart Maxx 900cca's), which is brand new, to an Optima Yellow Top or some other deep cycle battery, help with my dimming ?
