test for positive / negative RCA?

test for RCA?
is there a way to test which is the positive and which is the negative for rca jacks, I know - they should be color coded, but these were not. I labled them with duct tape but after running them the the writing came off :mad I will have pics of my rough install later today!!! (still need new carpet and some more dynomat- but im broke)

The outside ofthe barrel is always negative and the post in the center is positive. Are you trying to figure out left and right? If not I am wondering why you would need negative and positive on a RCA cable.

well i guess if it is just left and right then it is simple to test - duh - i thought :withstupid: they had something to do with positive and negative dumb dumb dumb :bb :lol: :lol:
