OK HERE ARE THE FINAL PICTURES!!!!!!!!! Car Toys is an incredible shop. Very technical and helpful. These pictures do not even do justice to the final product, but here they are:

This is the best MOD that I have seen yet!!!! :eek: :eek: :eek: The X-box sets the whole thing off!!! :thumbs: I didn't know that you were putting the X-box in so soon. The controls coming out of the sides of the center console looks sweet! I will be going to the shop as soon as I can. You're freakin' leaving me in the dust with all of your mods! I have to catch up! :cry

Looks like 4:3 to me. I never thought I'd say this, but I might actually go for a smaller screen than that.

I got that consol cover with the word corvette and the crossed flags custom made out here by me, i can have one made for you for about 50$ if you are interested. I posted a few weeks ago if anyone was interested. It is all custom embroydered, and came out simply beautiful.
Here is some more eye candy of my new tints- Limo tint, 5% and my new Borla 4.5" quad exit exhaust.

PS--- THEY CAN FINISH IT OEM STYLE WITH THE TEXTURED MAT BLACK LOOK. They can make it look perfectly OEM, in fact it is MUCH MUCH easier for them to do it, no days of sanding. It took 2 full days to sand and paint my interrior and door pulls.

Call 410-263-6923 and ask for Jayson, tell then that Justin with the black corvette sent you and I promise they will take care of you.
If you are interested in a custom arm rest I do have one or two left, just shoot me an IM or email, i'll need 50 though for it.

What is the process they use to paint the parts.
What type of paint is it?
I would be interested in the modified area painted to look like an aluminum trim piece around the stereo and LCD, and the rest left stock.

Whats their method for matching the factory grain?
Do you like the screen? They seem to be very good quality. You need to paint its frame. :p:

I really couldn't tell you what they do to match the factory grain, I would just call themand pick their brains on it.

-2.4 Farad SPL chrome hex cap
-sold my alpine 7897 and bought a Alpine DVA-7996 IN DASH DVD PLAYER
to go with it (no internal amp)
-Rockford Fosgate Power 750X 4 channel ~100W at 4 ohms per channel
-new speaker wire to be ran
still working on how i am going to custom install the xbox. Right now it is in a pile of parts, but still works. I don't think i am going to have enough room in the amp rack with that cap and inverter now so i'm thinking about bagging it and putting it in the side well in the trunk, not ideal, but still thinking. Any ideas are appreciated!

If it were me I would hide the guts of the x-box in one of the wells, or under the seats.
For the drive I would either put that under the passenger seat, or behind it in the bottom facing up.
Even with the seat reclined there is a decent gap in the back of it, at least in mine.

How do you control the HVAC system? Looks like you completely removed the system. Did you move it someplace else in the dash? BTW sweet setup!
