I was planning on getting 5 1/4" for the doors. I have seen..

SONY (XS-V1333) 3 way 175 W peak/45 W RMS for $58

I was also planning on 6"x9" for hatch area. I have seen...

JBL (GTO935) 3 way 300 W peak/2-100 W RMS for $70
Sony (XS-V6943) 4 way 280 W peak/2-60 W RMS for $65

I am probably not gonna get subs, so would I need an amp to go with these speakers? How big of an amp and what brand?

What would sound the best together? I'm not a huge car audio guy, but wanna be able to hear the stereo over the 383 with the Hookers and Flowmasters.

Should I also fill up the dash spots with speakers as well? I have the original Bose in it right now, and there aren't any dash speakers, but I believe there is room for some. Should I put the Bose 4" in the dash or a set of tweeters?

I just saw some 4x6 JBL (GTO6425)2 way 120W peak/2-40 W RMS for $39. Good for dash?

I was recently at a Best Buy and was playing in their sound room and liked the sound in this order..SONY<RF<JBL . Since the prices are very similar, I'm leaning towards JBL, but I need some people's opinions that actually know what they're talking about, in other words..not me :D .

Your opinion matters most. If you like the JBLs the best, go for them. I have 5 JBL amps and love them.
I'm not a big fan of Sony speakers.
