backstrap placement
hey guys i found some of the strapping stuff and i got a friend thats going to help me out tom. with it but, where is the best place to mount it.

On the back of your radio there is going to be either a stud sticking out or a place to put a bolt. Your radio should have came with a bolt to go there for a backstrap. Attach the backstrap to the radio there. Then you need to find a location behind the radio the is preferably metal to mount the other end of the backstrap to. The shorter the backstrap the better unless you have one that is really heavy gauge. What you are trying to achive is a strong support for the rear of the radio.
