System light is flashing, how do you fix it?
I bought this Corvette a few months ago and havenÂ’t had a problem with it until I knocked a couple of wire lose on the Bose radio, The guy I bought the vette from put an after market stereo in the vette and moved the Bose radio and amp to the storage area in the rear of the vette and kept it wired up to fool the computer on the Corvette. Again, I havenÂ’t had a problem with it until now when I knocked a couple of wires lose on the Bose radio
I was moving the Bose stereo and amp and some of the wires came lose and the antenna wouldnÂ’t come up. I hooked the wires back up and at first had them wrong and the Bose amp smoked for a few seconds and the systems light came on, on the dash.
I now have taken everything apart and have the Bose wires hooked up correctly and every thing works fine including the antenna.
But, the problem is, I still canÂ’t get the systems light to stop flashing intermittently.
Is there a way to reset the systems light so that it will quite flashing or do you think I may have ruined the Bose amp when it smoked and this is what the computer is reading?
How can I determine why the systems light is flashing?
Thanks,
JJ

and ask them if they make an adapter which will allow you to remove the factory radio.
