High Performance Alternator
Last summer I had problems with the battery holding a charge. After cycling the old battery a couple of times it had to be replaced. Then I began to have the same problem again in the fall. I put the car in storage for the winter and figured I would deal with it in the spring.
Well, last week I experienced the dreaded dimming lights/dying car syndrome after installing a new stereo. After reading several threads I decided to pull the old alternator and replace with a 160 Amp HD alternator from motorcityreman.com. Took only minutes to replace. Now everything works fabulously, even at idle, with lights, cooling fan, stereo, etc., all running. Only $129.00.
I highly recommend this upgrade. Why wait until some dark night?
Thanks again for all the great advice.
