I am so Pizzzzzed off right now. I just pulled my dash apart... pulled the radio....hooked up the wiring harness to the HU....Fished the power and ground through the firewall....ran a fuse on the pwr from the battery.. hid all the wiring back...hooked up the speaker wires to the amp...then the ground...then the power.....nothing....turned on the HU....nothing...went back to the amp....saw the REM plug sticking out... remembered that needed power so I just ran it along with the power from the battery and voila....its on...turn op the volume and WOW....its kickin
then I start to clean the tools out of the trunk and shift the amp....then I smell smoke....see smoke coming from the amp...hear a couple pops... so i PULL the power wire out I I think the pwr and ground might have been too loose in the amp and touched).... and now nothing.. I checked the fuse by the battery....it was blown .....so I test the amp by running straight power and I see the power to the amp but NO sound from the sub.... what did I do? If I did blow it, can it be fixed or do I need to go get a new one tomorrow
If it doesnt have an internal fuse, I'd highly suggest putting one just before the amp. (The fuse on the power wire protects the power wire, not the amp.)

But its probably stuck in protection...
Stuck in protection? Can I fix this? or do I buy a new amp tomorrow?
