C5 DVD Navagation DVD Head Unit question
The stock head unit to a vette is kind of tall. When you replace it with one of those flip up dvd units. Is there a gap (where the factory radio used to be) when the flip up part of the unit is closed?

The factory unit is called a din and a half (1.5) the flip up monitors are single din units. to make the radio fit and fill the gap you use a dash kit. Several companies make dash kits to do this any car audio shop or Circuit City should have one in stock.

Where do you order a mounting plate like that?
He machines them out of solid billet aluminum then powder coats and engraves them.
He does excellent work!
