Flamed speaker box!

I just finished my custom box. I thought flames would look good.

I have only seen the picture once but I believe the flames are under the covering material. If that is the case you cut out the pattern you want out of closed cell foam...usually 1/8th to 1/4" thick or out of 1/4" MDF. I have used both but prefer MDF. The foam is easier and faster....cuts with scissors. But if it is touched alot it will get indentions in it....they will rise out but not quickly. MDF takes longer...has to be cut and sanded but it is alot more durable.
