OK, I have decided I am getting this unit with the FM Modulator. I know...I know...it won't sound the best and I thoroughly investigated using the AUX set-up and spoke to Dexter and Tuan (very helpful and extremely patient with my rookie questions) but I use my CD changer a lot too and do not want to lose that. I may upgrade my system later so the Roady unit will still be usable at that point too.
All this said, if one goes the FM Modulator route can it then be used in other vehicles? As long as you have another antenna and FM modulator for the other vehicle?
I just bought the roady for the vette, but just got back from a 700 mile trip in my wife's car with the roady.I just took out the antenae and the fm modulator, but that was a little cumberson. I think if you often went between cars, you could just get another antenae, but use the same fm modulator.

As someone mentioned earlier, I can get ok antenae and fm reception by just putting the antenae and plugging the fm modulator in the console. Very simple and clean. I may try to run the antenae in the waterfall though, but then it would not be as easy to go from car to car.
I install the roady in my vette and i also added another antenna and gave my wife the fm mod. and i use the casette adp. in mine since i only use the vette on the weekend she uses the roady durning the week. works out great.
