C4 compartment sub vs. box comparison question...
I currently have a sealed box with an Elemental Designs e12kx in it. I have been thinking of making a fiberglass sealed enclosure in the rear storage compartment of my 92 vette. I do realize I would have to drop down to a 10" for this. What I am curious about is if anyone has heard a sealed box sub in the rear and a sub in the storage compartment and is there any difference in bass. Which one sounds better or are they close enough that the stealth design would be better. I would prefer to have my sub in the compartment as long as it would sound as good as it does in my sealed box.
